Raymond Clark III has been arrested and charged with the Yale murder of Annie Le. He has been assigned an attorney after DNA evidence was discovered linking him to the crime.
CBS 2 reports Clark did a number of things to draw attention to himself before DNA evidence was discovered.
In addition to the scratch marks on his face, which he blamed on a cat, he was spotted cleaning up the crime scene. He allegedly scrubbed the floors and inconspicuously tried to block an investigator from seeing a box of bloody wipes says CBS 2 News. The police also found a blood-stained sock carrying both Le's and Clark's DNA.
The only comment his attorney has made so far is that Clark will plead not guilty.
ABC News reported that Ms. Le had disappeared on Tuesday. Some believed that se had left due to cold feet; her wedding was scheduled for Sunday. Sadly, Sunday was the day that here body was found, pushed into a narrow wall space.
CBS News goes on to report that Ms. Le was suffocated to death.
